Follow all speed limits and traffic laws
Make an effort to caravan with other drivers
Bring vehicle registration & Proof of insurance
Make sure you have a full tank of gas before you cross the border, US side
Stay on the toll road
Exchange money Stateside to get a better rate

Don’t get stuck in Mexico because you forgot your passport
Don’t get arrested
Don’t drink and drive ( WE see checkpoints all the time) Hotel will have a shuttle service
Don’t bring anything that you can’t afford to get stolen *including your car
